TOLD YOU I WAS GOING TO BE LATE

Here's my actual birthday gift for ~Curenio, of, well, Curenio!

Nothing really new here artistically, but I still like the end result. I know there are glaring errors with the light source/shadows (ooooooops... plus I totally failed at showing the depth I wanted...) and the clothing folds really should've been referenced... I really enjoyed drawing the bones and feathers, though. Funfun.
...Okay, and I loved mixing the dark red. I always love mixing dark red.
ANYWAY! :iconcurenio:'s incredible character from her story Cytoplasm which everyone should go check out, yes.
...And more of Curenio, who's kind of fantastic.
(What can I say, ~Curenio, I have a thing for your villains, heheh...)

11"x15" Watercolor block, Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolors, Sakura Microns, white gel pen. ~8-10 hours total, painted in one day.
