A tutorial/walkthrough on how I paint digitally, since I've had quite a few people ask! This is long overdue, really, but I hope that it proves informative/useful to some of you guys, and sorry for my wordyness! I can't make any sense unless I'm trying to tell a story. ):
For those who don't know, Oekaki
is a browser-based (online) drawing system where you draw via an Oekaki applet (such as Chibipaint, PaintBBS or ShiPainter, which is what I used for this tutorial here) and post it onto an "Oekaki Board" (BBS, bulletin board system) for fellow users to see and comment on! Many oekaki applets have the fancy feature of recording Animations, which are stroke-by-stroke replays of the painting of a picture. I have an animation of the painting used for this tutorial, check it out!
To get pressure sensitivity
in Oekaki, download the JTablet Plugin!
Any comments, critiques or notes gladly welcomed, it's been a while since I've done a tutorial. ...And yes, I still put together all my stuff in MS Paint. Shhhh I'm a very simple person. >_>;;
Anyway, I hope that this will be of use to some of you, and see you in [PART TWO: THE WALKTHROUGH]
