Improvement Meme 2003-2015

Been a while since I updated this, so here we go... 

Looking back on 2014 and 2015, it's... really been a rough year, 2015.  I'm so torn between wanting to learn so much more and being happy to go to these more rigorous schools, but also losing out on producing personal art and feeling so much more stressed and exhausted.  It's only made worse by the fact that I kind of avoid online socialization when I'm stressed over schoolwork, and don't talk to people as much, when they're what motivate me and inspire me and give me ideas for my stories more than half the time.  

I want to be back soon, and I want to be out of school soon.  I'm hoping to finish being a full-time student after next semester, but, we'll see how things go.  I know it was made worse by me taking a lot of I guess I can only call them advanced fundamentals classes, so it's been a lot of busybody work and getting in mileage at drawing, rather than producing anything portfolio-worthy.  At this point, I feel like I'm learning tons every day, but I haven't been able to apply any of it yet to my own work, and I just, wanna work more on my personal stuff, man.

In 2014, I just made so much material, a lot of which still makes up the bulk of my portfolio right now.  On top of the all of the comic pages and illustrations, I (re)did my Bodies of Water animatic, Flash Fiction Month, writing, sculpture, birthday gifts and Inktober... I easily made more than double the amount of finished/portfolio pieces in 2014 than 2015, and that was all while at MCAD, the "easier" school.  I guess that, in the end, I'm really glad to have gotten to experience both, but I really can't decide which one I'd choose right now... all I know is I'm tired of school, hahaha.  

I hope to be able to return to dA/online and be more active soon.  I really miss being on here, and talking to more people about their OCs and stories.  I hope 2016 is a much better year for all of us!!
